Designed in 1960, the Orange Slice is a timeless icon that looks as fresh and inspired today as it did when it was first created. Anyone who sees several Slice chairs together cannot fail to be touched by the playfulness of the composition. From different visual angles, the Orange Slice shows several stages of 'curl up'. In fact, the chair seems to change shape every time you look at it.

Materials & features
The chair is upholstered in water and stain resistant premium wool or micro fibre available in a variety of colours, upholstered onto a Beachwood shell. The frame is constructed of stainless steel and buffed to a mirror shine finish.

Pierre Paulin was a well-known figure in the world of design for over half a century 
designing seats shaped like mushrooms and tongues, in a range of bright colours, 
for which he received much recognition.

His designs have now found their way into major museums across the world such as the New York's museum of modern art, the museum of decorative arts in Paris and London’s Victoria and Albert museum. 

His work was a favourite to former French presidents - Georges Pompidou and François Mitterrand chose him to furnish the presidential palace. his tables and chairs are still furnishing the Elysee palace in Paris, with his sofas, bookcase and desk adorning other rooms.

Born in Paris on July 9, 1927, Paulin was influenced by Japanese drawing and American designers 
Charles and Ray Eames. This led him to design furniture which was simple, functional 
and hard-wearing.

1.     14 days from the day of delivery to change your mind.
If, when your furniture arrives, and for whatever reason it is not what you expected, we will remove it and refund your money. Alternatively you can exchange to a different model, colour or size.

Please inform us by email or phone of your decision to return or exchange your furniture within 14 days. The customer is responsible for all returns however we can arrange returns on your behalf. A collection charge of £55 will be applied plus our original cost of delivery at £25 per item. Although delivery is free to you if you decide to keep the item, we must recover these costs in the case of a return.

2.     Two year guarantee.
Our guarantee covers any defect in manufacture and materials, allowing for fair wear and tear. In the unlikely event of a claim, we will repair or replace your furniture entirely free of charge.
